ADSA 2022, Dec 6-9

Waipapa Taumata Rau | The University of Auckland

Tēnā koutou, nau mai, haere mai!

The team at Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland are so excited to welcome you to Tāmaki Makaurau for this year’s ADSA conference.

You’ll see from the call for papers that our theme, Travelling Together, is drawn from the University’s gifting of a new name by mana whenua,  Ngāti Whātua Ōrakei, the hapu on whose lands city campus of the University’s is located. We invite you to travel with us as we reconnect, look back at where we’ve come from, and continue to chart our journeys ahead.

The 2022 conference will be held in-person and we look forward to returning to kanohi ki te kanohi kōrero (face to face dialogue). We are mindful that this may not be possible for all ADSA members, and will be working towards providing options for some forms of online engagement for those only able to travel in spirit. We will update you on this as plans unfold.

We anticipate announcing details about the programme and speakers late May.

Please be in touch with any questions.

Noho ora mai,

Emma, Alys, Molly, Tia, Michelle, Peter and Tahnee
